"Works with the frameworks I actually use"
I’ve been using it across a few different projects, and so far it’s handled pretty much all the frameworks I rely on day to day. I was expecting to run into at least one annoying compatibility issue, but overall it’s been smooth and easy to work with.

"Great value for everyday tools"
So... I use these tools pretty much every day, and the price feels really fair for everything that’s included. Definitely feels like a good deal.

"Support got it sorted fast"
I had a small issue and reached out to support, they helped me out really quickly. No hassle, no back-and-forth, just got it fixed and I was good to go.

"Took a bit to get used to, but now I rely on it"
I started using JetBrains tools after mostly working with simpler editors, so, uh, there was definitely a learning curve at first. I remember opening it up and feeling kind of overwhelmed by all the menus, shortcuts, and extra features. But after a week or two, things started to make more sense. Now I feel slower when I’m not using it. The code hints, refactoring tools, and project navigation save me a ton of time. It’s not perfect and it can feel a little heavy sometimes, but for learning and everyday coding, it’s been really useful.

"Good Plugins, but Some Have Issues"
Overall, the plugins are good and useful, but for some reason a few of them seem to break often. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can get a little frustrating when you have to keep fixing things.

"The integration works well overall, honestly. It…"
The integration works well overall, honestly. It was easy enough to get going, and most of the time it does what I need. But, yeah... when conflicts come up, things can feel a little messy and harder to sort out than I’d like

"Great for Debugging, Even If It Feels Like a Workout for My Laptop"
I mostly use JetBrains for debugging, it does that really well. Breakpoints, watches, and stepping through code are all straightforward, which is nice when I’m trying to figure out what went wrong. It can be a bit heavy and slow on my laptop, but I guess that’s the price you pay for something that actually helps you get work done. Overall, it’s a solid tool and does save me time

"Pretty solid with most languages"
I’ve used it for a few different languages now. Some common ones, a couple I don’t use every day. it handles most of them fine. Not perfect every single time, but good enough that I don’t really have to think about it much. I type something in, switch languages here and there, and it usually keeps up.

"Fan Is Way Too Loud"
Well... every time I use my laptop, the fan starts screaming like it’s about to take off. It gets really annoying, especially when I’m just doing basic stuff.

"Solid updates without the unnecessary fuss"
I use IntelliJ almost every day, and the updates have been coming regularly. So far, they’ve actually been useful instead of feeling like unnecessary changes just for the sake of it. I did run into one plugin issue after an update, but it got fixed quickly. Overall, I’m still really happy with JetBrains.

"Good tools, but licensing is a headache"
The tools themselves are solid and I don’t really have complaints there. But the licensing makes something that should be simple feel way harder than it needs to be. Switching between devices or moving things around between team members is annoying, and the cost adds up quickly if you’re a small setup. It feels unnecessarily stiff for everyday use.

"Refactoring is where JetBrains really earns its keep"
I mostly use jetbrains for Java and Kotlin, and if I’m reading between the lines of my own workflow, the refactoring tools are probably the biggest reason I keep sticking with it. Renaming things, moving classes around, extracting methods, changing signatures, it catches a lot of little stuff I know I’d miss on my own. Even in larger, messier projects, it usually feels safe enough that I’m not holding my breath every time I make a change. It’s not perfect, and yeah, indexing can drag sometimes, but when I need to clean up or restructure code quickly, it saves me a ton of hassle.

"Works Fine on Both"
I was kind of expecting some hiccups switching between my Mac and Linux setup, but it works the same on both. I guess I can’t really complain.

"Good IDE, though maybe a bit heavy at times"
I use jetbrains IDEs for work, and overall I do think they’re good. That said, I sometimes feel like they can be a little heavy, or maybe it’s just my laptop showing its age. Startup can take a while, and the indexing definitely chews through CPU for a bit. Once everything settles down, it usually runs fine and I don’t have many complaints. I wouldn’t say it’s bad at all, I just kind of wish it felt a bit lighter when working on bigger projects

"Great tools, just wish I’d learned them sooner"
I use JetBrains tools almost every day now, i kind of regret not getting into them earlier. The interface is really easy to move around in, and even though the settings are extensive, they don’t feel overwhelming or messy. The dark theme is also really comfortable to use for long stretches. It did take me a little while to get the shortcuts down, which I probably should’ve done sooner, but once they started clicking, everything felt super smooth

"Solid tools, but the site can be kinda confusing"
JetBrains apps are legit really strong, and the website is mostly fine to use. But sometimes I’m kinda sitting there like, where the heck is the right download or license info? There’s just a lot going on, so if you’re trying to grab something quick, it can feel a bit messy. Overall not bad at all, just wish it was a little more straightforward.

"Helpful docs, even when I get myself lost"
I mostly use the JetBrains docs when I’m setting up an IDE or trying to fix some weird config issue. For the most part, they’re easy to follow, and the screenshots actually match what I’m seeing in the app, which saves me a lot of guessing. My only gripe is that some older pages or plugin docs feel kind of buried, and I probably make it worse by clicking around impatiently instead of searching properly. Still, I usually end up finding what I need without having to dig through forums

"Has Everything I Need"
I’ve been using it for a bit, all the features I need are there. Even the little things I usually have to look around for are easy to find, which makes it feel really convenient day to day...

"Feels like it actually understands my code"
I was in a rushed mood trying to clean up a project, and JetBrains code completion made things way easier. It catches those silly mistakes before they turn into a bigger headache, gets me to the right files quickly, and the refactoring feels safe enough that I’m not sitting there nervous the whole time. It saves me a bunch of time every week.

"I’ve been using JetBrains products for…"
I’ve been using JetBrains products for a while, when they’re working well, they’re really nice to use. But lately it’s been hard to fully trust them day to day. I keep running into random freezes, indexing that takes way too long, and the IDE has even crashed on me in the middle of work a few times. Updates seem to fix one problem, but then something else pops up right after. For what it costs, I expected it to feel a lot more stable. It’s not awful, but the reliability issues are starting to wear on me.
